The Samson MDA1 is a mono active DI box designed to deliver clean, balanced audio from instruments or line-level sources to mixing consoles and interfaces. It converts high-impedance, unbalanced signals into low-impedance, balanced outputs, ensuring noise-free performance over long cable runs.
Equipped with a ¼” input and Thru output, a balanced XLR output, a ground lift switch, and a -15 dB pad, the MDA1 adapts easily to various setups—from guitars and basses to keyboards and playback devices. It can be powered either via 48 V phantom power or a 9 V battery for maximum flexibility.
Housed in a heavy-duty steel chassis, the MDA1 is built to withstand the rigors of touring and rental use. Compact, reliable, and straightforward, it’s an essential tool for any live or studio environment where signal integrity matters.
